Appearence: Naturally dark borwn hair with a red tint to it, at 17 he's dyed it red and by 19 its black. by 22 it's back to its normal colour. Never particularly extreme though. Large, brown eyes. quite tall, slim, very intense expression.

personality: Earnest and honest, Matt tends not to trust anyone with his deep thoughts-keeps to himself, though hes ferociously loyal and dedicated to his family. he's laid back and relaxed normally, and loves company. he rarely loses his temper and is quite gentle.

history: Raised by his Aunt in a large house in the Irish countryside, after an idyllic, but isolated childhood matthew was moved to the city for school and later college. He struggled at school though he wasn't unpopular. He developed a near-obsessive interest in shakespeare. his closest relationship is with his aunt, an extremely intelligent, cold woman. he himself admits she's the last person he'd pick to be someones mother, but that on closer inspection she is caring and steady. He jokes that he is 'a bit of a fictional character' citing the early deaths of both his parents and his unconventional upbringing for his reasons.

wardrobe: pastel colors, again nothing extreme. mostly t shirts under plaid shirts informally. he wears suits when with his aunt and owns maybe 1 tuxedo? he has messy hair and black glasses.
